TOKYO, April 22, 2021 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) is pleased to announce the release of the FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System Digital Camera Control Software Development Kit (SDK), which will help software developers integrate the functionality of FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System cameras into any applications that are currently being developed.
Available on April 22, 2021 the SDK will allow developers to initiate the automatic transfer of images, from a supported Fujifilm camera, to a computer using a Windows1 or macOS2 operating system.
Remote access to the basic controls of any supported Fujifilm camera is also supported. Information regarding the conversion of the RAW image data contained in Fujifilm’s proprietary RAF file is not provided with this SDK.

Bom passo mas falta fazer como a Canon que liberou tudo.
Todo fabricante de câmeras que se preze deveria fornecer um SDK.
Decodificar o raw não é algo critico, já existem bibliotecas que fazem. Se tiver meia dúzia de funções que permitam live view, disparo e os ajustes básicos para tethering em todos os modelos, já seria bom demais.
Torcer que alguém faça um app que realmente funcione - o da Fujifilm literalmente trava a minha X-S10 ao focar em live view (preciso retirar a bateria da câmera para ela voltar a funcionar…)
O melhor dessa notícia foi justamente citar o FW 2.0 da X-S10 - ou seja, deve ter mais modificação nesse firmware além do que foi anunciado; com sorte, resolve o meu problema com o app (que segue igual).
Se eu tivesse algum tempo livre, baixaria esse SDK para mexer um pouco - não para fazer um app desktop, mas para ver os comandos transmitidos e fazer um app mobile decente.
