24.2 megapixels, full-frame image sensor
4K 59.94p video recording
External 6K RAW video recording / Internal 4K video recording oversampled from 6K
High-speed burst shooting
Canon Log 3 maximizing dynamic range
Autofocus (AF): highly accurate subject detection with human, animal[ii], vehicle and automatic settings
Horses, trains, and airplanes are newly detectable through the use of deep learning technology
Continuous movie recording that exceeds 30 minutes
Up to 12 frames per second mechanical shutter
Up to 40 frames per second with electronic shutter
In-body Image Stabilization as effective as up to 8 stops faster shutter speed[iii]
It should be noted that while the
R6 Mark II can shoot up to 40 frames per second with its electronic shutter
(up to 12 frames per second with the mechanical shutter),
it is not a stacked sensor design. It is also not backside illuminated (BSI)
. Canon has not revealed how the sensor is able to shoot that quickly (and avoid horrendous rolling shutter effects) without using a stacked sensor, only that it can.
Canon EOS R6 Mark II Offers 40fps Burst Shooting and 6K Video
the EOS R6 Mark II outputs 6K RAW via its HDMI output, which can be recorded on an Atomos Ninja V+ recorder in ProRes RAW.
Creators can activate movie pre-recording mode of 3 or 5 seconds – when on, video is continuously streamed through the camera in standby enabling the capture of action even before you press record. Ideal for unmissable moments, or unpredictable scenes.
Gostei no geral.
